First studio session in a looooong time with White Pony tomorrow, and I’m seriously looking forward to doing some good with Pato Siebenhaar and Pelle Peter Jensen again. We will be playing a couple of shows this summer, and you should also look out for new music – more info later.
Here is an old video from our appearance with Nephew at Roskilde Festivals 2010. This is without doubt the most insane performance I’ve ever taken part in. Fast forward to 4.50 min for our bit.
I and putting finishing touches on the second album by My Evil Twin at the moment. The sound of the new album reminds me of vintage surf films and things moving in slow motion. It’s super dreamy and sun-drenched. Can’t wait to release some tracks…
Another project in the pipeline is a bunch of songs I’m producing for Maria Sejer. This is still fairly new. More info later this year.
Abekongen is opening next week and the music is coming together nicely. Here are three tracks from the play. They all features drummers from the Seidokan taiko group. See post below for more.

At the moment I am making music for the theater play Abekongen at Mungo Park Kolding. The play is based on the 16th century Chinese novel Journey to the West. Some may remember the Chinese cartoon Havoc in Heaven based on the same story. It’s on Youtube here.
I’m making the music with the help of drummers from the Seidokan Taiko group. Taiko drums are huge Japanese drums traditionally associated with the practice of karate. The pics below are of the drums in Sauna Recording Studio.
Abekongen opens February 16. I’ll put up some of the music when it’s done.
